Last week’s photoshoot was everything! Let me first say, that I am so grateful for my creative girlfriends. I’ve always said that you learn so much from other people, and we all have a story to share. Ciara is a client of mine that actually became my good friend. She was looking for help with her branding, and signed up to work with me on her business The Crafty Jawn Co. She is a REAL go-getter and a hard worker. Goals! The other part of our trio, Tai, is seriously one of the coolest chicks I ever met. She’s quiet but fierce! Have you seen her wardrobe? I can’t even with her closet – I literally felt like I was in a thrift shop! Tai is the blogger behind Freckles, Fashion and Flaws, and she has some BIG things exciting things coming for her brand. It’s gonna be goooood. These two ladies are my absolute jam.
So how did this whole thing start? The three of us went for coffee one morning and had our usual chat. Besides our normal ‘guy drama’ convos, we also talk about our week and how we’re feeling about life in general. We started to talk about photography and how we all felt like we never had anyone to take our photos. Let’s be real – us creatives can never have too many photos! Little did we know, #photoshootfridays was born. Once a week we grab our outfits, chose a location, and put our cameras to werrrrk. The best part of it? >> it’s a damn good time. If y’all think I’m the funny one, you haven’t been around these other two! And don’t get me started on the comments from random people on the street lol. I can’t…
The three of us are already planning our shoot for next Friday. It gives us something to look forward to every week and its such a great way to use our creativity to fuel each others ideas. It’s all about empowering one another and building our small community.
