New year….new trends….or are they? We all know fashion repeats itself. And if you’re a fashion freak like me, then you’ve already been stalking the latest runways and designs of some of the biggest designers. In today’s post, I’ll be sharing some of my favorite trends that we will see in 2019. Some of these you may have seen already, so let’s get right into it.
So this one was a bit of a shock to me, but again, fashion repeats itself. Tie die is…back? This look has been seen on the runways and is starting to make its way again back to the clothing stores. I’ve never been a fan of tie die but have definitely worn the look for a summer concert. This style can give off a little bit of those Coachella vibes….either way, I think these looks are kinda cute. Ok tie die in 2019, we see you.
Ok now this one is sooooo me. Y’all know I love my glitter and sparkle. I always say that an outfit dipped in a little shine makes a woman feel more feminine and bold. As part of my new year goal, I am stepping up my wardrobe game, and definitely adding some pieces like these to my closet. These looks are so stunning!
I’m a fan of this one. I LOVE big shoulder pads. It makes me feel like a badass. This style gives you the illusion of having broader and less sloping shoulders. I had a feeling that shoulder pads would come back…I used to laugh at my mom’s ol’ skool blazers until I started to see how cool and stylish they were. All of the yes for the look.
Oh okaaaay…..I see y’all neon lovers. I can rock with this! Although I am still rocking the green mint hair, there still might be some playful colors that I could match with. I love hot pink, and thinks that color looks amazing on any skin tone. This is probably one of the most fun trends of 2019. There are endless styles you can create with neon fabrics and prints.
I saved the best for last. Fringe. Is. Everything. I am dying over the second look! Brown has never been my color but hunty, this entire outfit is giving me life. I have GOT to find a fringe skirt like this! I’m also a fan of the chic purse and funky bell bottoms with the fringe top. I remember the first time I bought a fringe skirt and it was absolutely gorgeous. I felt so pretty when I wore it, and have never received so many compliments on an outfit.
Which one of these styles are your favorite? I definitely am feeling more inspired to do a little online shopping now – and my brain is flowing with ideas for my next kollection. It’s a beautiful day in fashion!
