It feels damn good to be a woman! We are powerful. We are CEO’s, and we are the leaders of tomorrow. And now, more than ever, there is so much to celebrate in my womanhood.
There was a time in my life where I was unhappy and down right miserable. I hated my 9-5 job, and all I wanted was to do was be a full time creative. I was always a child of the arts – and music and fashion have always been my passions.
So I decided to make some changes. I didn’t want to be unhappy anymore. And once I made the decision to focus on my businesses and throw away my miserable office job, life got better. My attitude started changing, and I started to inspire others to do the same. I started to become part of a real COMMUNITY.
Having a community is so important to your growth – not just as an entrepreneur but as a business woman. I always wanted my brand to be built around authenticity & community. I include my audience in everything that I do. I answer their DM’s. I reach out to those who may need inspiration. I don’t do this cuz I’m fake – I do this because I care. And I do this because I have passion. My girl boss community supports me, and I support them!
What does it truly mean to support a girl boss community?
You support their business – don’t just ask how things are going, buy or promote their product
You call to check on them
You share their posts
You attend their events
And you tell them, “hey girl, you’re doing a good job. It’s not easy, but you’re working hard.”
It’s time to take action girl. Your actions speak louder than words. I am so grateful and blessed to have two women who listen to my funky ideas, laugh with me, and cry with me lol! Cuz we all know…the struggle! I absolutely LOVE my girl tribe. Tai and Ciara are not just part of my girl boss community, they are my sisters. Women are always stronger together, and together we will rise.
Me and my tribe have A LOT of things in store for you babes. We are building a community for women, and the 3 of us has something new and exciting to bring to the table. We ain’t let the miles in between us stop us from building our platform and crushing our dreams! We are just getting started babe, and 2019 is going to be a damn good year.
Also, be sure to look out for a big announcement coming your way soon! I was given an incredible opportunity and I can’t wait to share it with you!! I’m so excited and it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. Look at the Universe working its magic! Good things come when your way when you speak to the Universe and attract positive things.
