This past Saturday, April 21, was the 11th Annual Runway Fashion Show at Buffalo State. Student designers in the Fashion and Textile Technology Department choose “Interconnect” as the theme for this year’s show. Everything looked amazing – from the VIP private lounge to the Runway stage. As usual, the students that greeted me were so professional and friendly – that makes all the difference. This is my third Runway show and I absolutely love this event. And what I loved even more…was the red carpet.
Here is the outfit I wore:
Top: Charlotte Russe – clearance rack, ONLY $5!!!
Leather Skirt: Express
Zigi Soho Duran Dress Bootie: Famous Footwear
I’ve worn this gorgeous leather skirt once, but didn’t do it justice yanno? So I decided to save it for this year’s event!

And now for the looks….all of the designers are SO talented. I get goosebumps just looking at how talented and creative these student’s are. Congrats to everyone who put this show together and worked so hard to create some amazing looks. In no particular order, these were my favorite looks of the night.
Rashaad Holley – As always this multi-talented style God comes through. These suits tho…I mean….incredible. Besides the models being super hot, I loved the detail of the suits. I would honestly wear any of these suits myself! Add some heels and I’m good. Love these Rashaad…you’re amazing.

Jillian Nicole – I remember seeing Jillan’s designs last year at Runway and was blown away. This year was no different. I mean, talk about having talent – this girl has it. I wanted ALL these dresses. Her designs were made with her grandmother’s lace, which is absolutely amazing. I know who to call when I need my wedding dress made! Absolutely stunning…

Landon Moreis – First let me apologize that I don’t have a better pic! (better version full kollection pic below) I had to include Designer Landon Moreis because his style was one of my favorites. Oh mah gaaah. I’ve never met him but I’m already obsessed with him. The outfit with the poncho-style top is gorgeous. I love this look, and I WANT this look. Landon, can you make one for me?

And of course I had to add these INCREDIBLE designs from Alumni Designer Mychael St. Rose. Beyond obsessed with these! If I had the body I would wear one of these pieces this summer lol…wishful thinking. This young man danced away as he came out on the Runway, and ended the night on a high note. Such a great show! Looking forward to many more to come.
Thanks for reading, and see ya in the next one xo
