TWO WAYS TO STYLE BOOTY SHORTS: LA Spring Edition
I’ve been living in LA for about 2 years now and I can safely say – the weather here can be a bit indecisive : ) There’s essentially two seasons in one day, but I’m definitely not complaining. I absolutely love the weather here – even on the chilly days.
Now that we have fully stepped into Spring, I thought I would show you two different ways to style a pair of black booty shorts. Sun’s out, buns out – amirite? What I love about LA, is that you can literally wear anything at any time regardless of the weather, and there’s essentially no rules. This is LA! – a city full of all different kinds of people, fashion styles, and personalities.
I got these shorts from Missguided and I love them. Every now and then a girl’s gotta show some leg and a lil booty. The weather is slowly warming up, so you’ll need a good pair of shorts in your closet wardrobe.
For my first look I wore my current favorite black heels from Steve Madden. Don’t you just love these? I got them for my birthday and I’m obsessed with them. They’re so gorg. I love a heel with shorts – it’s definitely a more sexy vibe.
For the second look I styled these shorts with a pair of puma men’s white socks, my vans sneakers, a black sports bra (which casually looks like an actual shirt), and this dope men’s graphic denim jacket I picked up at Zara. I always think its a good idea to bring a jacket or sweater with you in your handbag everywhere you go in LA, mainly because the AC can be freezing inside most places.
And for my last look, I ditched the sports bra, and wore the dopest long tee from Dolls Kill. By the way, if you don’t already know, they have some amazing edgy and retro style clothing. This tee can be worn by itself (as it’s long enough to cover your butt) or with these booty shorts. Cute right?
I dunno about you but I am all ready for the hot girl summer we didn’t have last year…it’s about that time ; )
You can find these shorts linked in the liketoknow.it app when you follow me at nkmstyling. As always, thanks so much for reading and stopping by. You are SO appreciated. See you next Monday Stylists,
